Upcycled Zipper Pouch Workshop
Join Colchuck Consignment to turn old scraps into a new usable zipper pouch! Choose materials ranging from a tent, a GoreTex rain jacket, sleeping pad, or an event banner, and turn it into a working pouch. We will have templates available to make pouches ranging from small coin pouches to gallon zip lock bags, so participants can choose which size will be most functional for them.
Eastside Rebuild Tool Library Demonstration
Step into our "Tool Zoo" at Eastside Rebuild and join us for an immersive demonstration class that offers hands-on experience with a wide range of essential power tools, from drills and saws to sanders, as well as precise measuring tools like chalk lines, levels, and tape measures. Designed to build your confidence and skills, this workshop will empower you to tackle DIY projects with precision and efficiency while getting acquainted with your local tool library.
Chumstick Valley Farm Tours
Join us for a three farm tour up the Chumstick Valley outside of Leavenworth. We will meet at the Willkommen Park and Ride and load into a bus, making stops at Gibbs Organic Farm, Snowgrass Farm, and Infuse Organics. All of these farmers are farming the land using various regenerative practices - from dryland grain farming with Gibbs, to a focus on season extension techniques at Snowgrass, to integrating and conserving wildlife habitat within the farming landscape at Infuse Organics - the morning is sure to inspire, whether you are a budding farmer yourself, home garden, or just appreciate local produce.
What’s So Hard About Cider?
“Rescued” apples, garage sale carboys, and recycled bottles are all a part of Steve’s operation. Come learn about what makes a good cider apple, how the juice is fermented, and have some fun tasting a bit of what could easily be the fruit of your own labor someday.
Beeswax Wrap Making Class
This class demonstrates how to make beeswax wrapping cloths. These cloths are food-safe, reusable, and can be used in place of plastic wrap.
Bike Repair 101
This workshop will be a one hour training in bike repair, helmet fitting and teaching how to ride a bike. It will be directly followed by a quarterly bike repair workshop put on by the Cashmere Middle School Bike Repair Club (CMS BRC).
A Taste of a Home Garden, Tour and Treat
Come see how we do things in the backyard home garden of Kristin Umbarger-Keene. She will share some tips that have worked well for her (i.e. crop rotation, irrigation, pruning, trellising, etc) and finish the tour by making and tasting Sicilian pesto

Stewarding the Land Through Sustainable Gardening
Come along on a tour of the many gardens on the stewarded land of Wenatchee River Institute . We'll start in the E. Lorene Young Community Garden to learn about how a donated plot of land can turn into a bounty of food for a community.
