We are Eastside Rebuild's membership-based tool library in Cashmere, WA, serving the Wenatchee Valley community with a wide range of tools and resources available for rent. Despite our compact size of less than 500 sq. ft., our impact is substantial! Explore further below to discover more about our offerings.

How does it work?

  1. Sign up online through MyTurn. You can then either pay through your account, or complete registration in person.

  2. Reserve your tools through your MyTurn account post-membership.

  3. Enjoy a week with your tools—plenty of time to tackle your projects!

  4. Late to return? Our late fee is $1 per tool per day we are open.

  5. Remember, no renewals—let's keep the tool-sharing love flowing!

  6. While we have some consumables like saw blades and drill bits available, please note that we are not responsible for providing these for your specific project.

    • Full access to our tool library (for one person)

    • Supports our mission to provide affordable resources for those in need

    • Must be completed in-person

  • $20 per month

    Recommended for individuals with single projects
    This flexible option is perfect for those who need tools for a short time without the commitment of a full year.

    • Full access to our tool library (for one person)

    • Ideal for individuals working on specific projects or tasks

  • $50 per year

    Recommended for single-person accounts
    This membership tier sustains our daily operations while providing full access to our tools. Your support is essential for us to continue offering valuable services to the community.

    • Contributes to the ongoing support of our mission: Helps ensure that everyone can benefit from our resources and programs.

  • $100 per year

    Recommended for dual-person accounts
    By choosing this membership, you gain access for two members and play a vital role in supporting individuals in need through scholarship contributions. Your support directly impacts our community.

    • Full access to our tool library (2 people per household)

    • Helps provide a scholarship to someone in need: Ensures that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from accessing the tools they require.

  • $150 per year

    For households who want to support more
    This tier supports your household and significantly contributes to the sustainability of our tool library, allowing us to grow and enhance our programs. It’s ideal for those who wish to give more and make a larger impact in the community.

    • Full access to our tool library (2 people per household)

    • Directly supports the future growth of our programs: Expands educational workshops, promotes community connections, and enables us to provide scholarships for those in need.

  • $250+ per year

    For individuals, households, and businesses
    This tier helps expand our educational programs, maintain our inventory, and provide scholarships. It’s an excellent option for those who want to make a significant impact on our mission and support community initiatives.

    • Full access to our tool library (2 people per household or business account)

Become a tool librarian!

A healthy tool library needs support! Becoming a Tool Librarian means empowering individuals with the resources they need, fostering collaboration, and building a more resilient community. Tool Librarians will fill reservations, sign members up, inventory tools, and answer questions on tools housed in the library.

You will need to complete an orientation first! They are offered on Thursdays from 5pm - 6pm and Saturdays from 10am - 11pm.

Tool Donations

We are now accepting donations! We take most tools.

General Guidelines

Donations are open any time the tool library is open.

Tools must be in good working order. Power tools should be less than 20 years old.

Donations are available to be tax-deducted, as we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

  • -We accept most tools!

    -Must be complete, clean, working, and testable

    -Battery power tools must come with battery and charger

    Not Currently Accepting

    -No tools larger/heavier than two people can load onto a truck

  • Consumables are welcomed as long as there is some left to salvage. Some examples:

    -Sandpaper, fasteners, glues, brad nails and staples

    -Non-flammable lubricants

    -First aid kit, spill kits, and PPE

    • Gas powered tools are marginal and we may or may not be able to accept your machine regardless of quality.

    • Any tools with removed safety features, questionable electrical safety, or too outdated to be considered safe by modern standards.

    • Any and all power tools!

    • Quality cordless tools with battery & charger

    • Specialty tools of all kinds
