LEAVENWORTH RECYCLING CENTER
In partnership with the City of Leavenworth, Waste Loop manages the small Leavenworth Recycling Center located at 216 14th Street, across from the Community Cupboard.
Winter Hours of Operation:
Wednesday 3:30PM - 5:30PM and Saturday 11:00AM - 3:00PM
Since 2019, Waste Loop has been working hard to find solutions for the community to divert materials out of the landfill.
Accepted Materials:
1. Single Stream Recycling through Waste Management* (mixed paper, aluminum & tin cans, and plastic bottles). Click HERE for more information on what is accepted. Make sure all recyclables are clean, dry, and empty!
2. Cardboard* (flattened, corrugated)
3. Yard Waste* is accepted from the City of Leavenworth residents only (be prepared to show proof of city residence ie. ID or mail).
Yard waste may include leaves, pine needles, and limbs cut into 4-foot or shorter lengths. Recyclable paper lawn & garden bags are also accepted. NO dirt, rocks, sod, or building debris.
The City of Leavenworth provides yard waste pick-up services to city residents twice a year (Spring and Fall).

Glass Hauling - Unavailable until Further Notice
Unfortunately, due to supply chain challenges, our glass recycling partner, Strategic Materials, has ceased accepting glass for processing as of late August 2024. We are actively working with partners across the state to find alternative recycling solutions. Check out our FAQ here.
